Bruce Watt Photography is the oldest photo store in the Manawatu and has been proudly serving Palmerston North since the 1950s. Our goal is to help you choose and use the latest cameras and lenses by providing the best product knowledge and service available.
We haven’t forgotten our roots and still sell and process film. We recognize what a fantastic medium film is and are keen to provide assistance to anyone using 35mm film. We even stock Polaroid film.
No matter what you use we can help you with the latest cameras, bags, lighting and printing solutions.

Fraser Kitt: Started at the store in 1985 and then worked for Bells Photography on Broadway for 12 years before rejoining the crew at Bruce Watts. He’s been a regular contributor to photography & technology magazines and has his finger firmly on the pulse of the latest technology.
Stuart Watt: Stuart is the late Bruce Watt’s son and has been around cameras his whole life. He is a fountain of information on not only the latest technology but can dredge up pearls of wisdom on older cameras and collectibles. His knowledge of photography is unrivaled.
Ned Moess: Ned is a keen, energetic person and has a real passion for photography. He joined the team in 2015 after completing a Diploma in Photographic Imaging at the Universal College of Learning.
